At Pilcher Pots - the School we strive to ensure a seamless experience for all participants in our courses, workshops, and sessions. By enrolling in any of our offerings, you acknowledge your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Course Alterations and Cancellations: We retain the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to necessary adjustments or impractical circumstances. Your enrolment indicates your agreement to these possible changes. We may modify class tutors or content without prior notice. Notify us in advance of any allergies or special requirements.
Payments: For Taster Sessions and Pottery Experience Days, full payment upon booking is necessary to secure your place.
For Termly Courses and Guest Potter Workshops, your spot is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. They can be transferred or extended under specific conditions.
Cancellation by You ( For Taster Sessions, Pottery Experience Days, and Guest Potter Workshops):
Cancellation within five working days of the session incurs the full fee.
Cancellation within two weeks (but over five working days) transfers the session's value (availability dependent), without refund.
Cancellation with over two weeks' notice receives a full refund.
For Courses:
Full payment is due at course booking.
Cancellation two or more weeks prior to the course garners a full refund.
Cancellation within two weeks deducts £100 as a deposit.
No deferral is possible; full payment before the first session is mandatory.
Course abandonment after commencement results in no refund.
Cancellation by Us:
We reserve the right to cancel, alter, or reschedule any course, workshop, or session. If we cancel, we'll arrange an alternative date or issue a full refund.
Health and Safety:
Your participation is at your own risk. Recognise the inherent risks of a pottery studio, including sharp tools, chemicals, and high temperatures.
Wear appropriate clothing, including comfortable, flat shoes with non-slip soles and covered toes. Casual attire is recommended, with tied-back long hair. We're not liable for clothing damage or valuables loss.
All students receive a health and safety briefing before starting their session.
